How do I become a member of the Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club?

As a member of the Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club you will also own a piece of it!
Lot ownership and membership are synonymous. We have properties for any budget. Whether you own one lot or ten, with or without a cabin or year-round home, every member has the same rights and privileges. Our members represent all income levels and walks of life. We are united in a great love of the outdoors!
Here are 4 easy steps to becoming a member

STEP 1
Find a lot or home which fits your budget. Come on up and take a tour! We have a group of volunteers who love to show off our Club.
Enter into a purchase agreement with a member or the Club.
STEP 2
Obtain a membership application package from the Club office.
Note: All new members must be sponsored by a member in good standing with the Club. However, if you don’t know a member, that’s ok! Just let us know and we will help you find a sponsor.
Complete the Transfer Agreement - Applicant and Seller complete and sign.
Buyer returns completed application package.
STEP 3
Meet with a representative of the Membership Committee to review your application and ask any other questions.
Note: We like to have these meetings at the Club but we will try to meet with you at other locations as arranged with one of our volunteer Membership Committee Interviewers
STEP 4
Member selling or transferring the property signs and completes (including name and address of buyer) the back of the appropriate Membership Certificate(s) and returns certificate(s) to the Club office.
Buyer completes transaction by legally recording deed(s) with Mackinac County Register of Deeds.
Individual Junior Memberships are also available with property ownership.
